Vertical launching system

A vertical launching system is like a big, fancy elevator that can lift things up and launch them into the air. It's used for missiles, rockets, and other stuff we want to send flying up high.

Picture a tall tube, like a giant straw. Inside, there are little compartments, sort of like drawers in a dresser. These compartments hold the things that we want to launch.

When it's time for a launch, the elevator moves the compartment up to the very top of the tube. Then, it opens up a trapdoor, and the object inside is free to fly out on its own.
