Vicarious liability

Vicarious liability means if somebody does something wrong and another person is responsible for that person, then that other person might be held responsible for the wrong thing that was done. A good example of this would be a parent and their child. If a child does something wrong, like stealing from a store, the parent might be held responsible for what their child did.
