Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol

Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol, or VRRP, is a protocol that helps make sure your internet connection stays on, even if one of your routers stops working. It does this by making copies of the router's data, called "redundancies". If one of the routers fails, the other router takes over, so you continue to have internet. In this way, you don't have to worry about losing your connection due to a router issue.
