ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Voltage optimization

Ok kiddo, do you know what electricity is? It's like magic energy that flows through wires to make things like your TV, lights and toys work. Now, when this electricity flows through the wires, it has a certain amount of power, like how hard you might push a ball. This power is called voltage.

Voltage optimization is when you try to make sure that the amount of power (voltage) that flows through the wires is just enough for things to work properly, but not too much that it wastes energy and money. It's like making sure you're using just enough strength to push a ball without pushing too hard and wasting your energy.

So, how do we do that? Well, we use cool gadgets that can adjust the amount of voltage flowing through the wires and make sure it's just right. This helps save energy and money because when there's too much voltage flowing through the wires, it can cause things to break or use up more energy than they need to.

So, voltage optimization is basically a fancy way of making sure we're using just the right amount of electricity to power our stuff and save energy and money in the process. Pretty neat, huh?
