Würzburg radar

Okay kiddo, do you know what radar is? It's like a special machine that uses radio waves to find out where things are.

The Würzburg radar was a special kind of radar that was used by the Germans during World War II. It was named after the city where it was first made, which is called Würzburg.

The Würzburg radar was super important because it helped the Germans figure out where to aim their bombs during air raids. It worked by sending out radio waves that bounced off objects and came back to the radar machine. The machine then used this information to figure out where the object was and how fast it was moving.

Even though the Würzburg radar was really good at helping the Germans during the war, eventually the Allies (the group of countries fighting against Germany) figured out how to jam it so it wouldn't work anymore. But it was still a very important invention at the time!
