Weather forecasting

Weather forecasting is like an "educated guess" about what the weather will look like in the future. Meteorologists (scientists who study the weather) use a lot of special tools and data to try and make a good guess. For example, they look at things such as air pressure, wind speed, and temperature. They use this data to predict what kind of weather the future will bring. This helps people plan their day and activities based on what they think the weather may be like.
