Werling v. Sandy

Okay kiddo, so there are these two people named Werling and Sandy who had a disagreement. They couldn't agree on something and decided to take the matter to court. When people have a disagreement like that, they go to court to see if a judge can help them figure things out.

Now, the problem with Werling and Sandy's situation is that they both had different ideas of how things should be done, and they were both pretty sure they were right. So, the judge had to listen to both sides and look at all the facts to make a decision.

After listening to everything, the judge made a ruling, which means they decided how the disagreement should be resolved. This ruling is called a verdict. In the case of Werling v. Sandy, the judge made a verdict saying who was right and who was wrong.

The verdict was important because it meant that one person won the case and got what they wanted, and the other person lost and didn't get what they wanted.

So, that's what happened in Werling v. Sandy, they had a disagreement, they went to court, and the judge made a verdict to decide who was right and who was wrong.
