Wetting current

Wetting current is a process that happens when electricity flows through a material called a conductor. Electricity is like water, and it is always looking for the easiest path to flow through. When electricity passes through a conductor, the conductor gets wet with electricity because it's the easiest pathway for the electricity to take. This is why it's called wetting current.
