Who Controls the Internet?

No one single person or group controls the Internet. The Internet is like a giant network of computers that are all connected to each other, sort of like a doughnut. All the computers in this doughnut can talk to each other, because they are all connected. No one can control that doughnut, but there are some people and groups who help make sure it's running smoothly. These people and groups create the rules that everyone who uses the Internet has to follow, like saying no to bullying someone, or not sending viruses, or not sharing private information. They also work to fix problems when things don't work, like when a website is down or a connection isn't working. Basically, the Internet is run by a lot of people who all help make sure it works properly.
