Winter sport

Winter sports are activities, like skating and skiing, that people do during the cold winter months. Skating is when people put on skates and slide on frozen lakes or rinks. Skiing is when people strap two long, thin boards to their feet and slide down snow covered hills. Winter sports can be lots of fun, but people need to dress warmly to stay safe and enjoy them!
