ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Wireless local loop

Wireless local loop (WLL) is a connection between your home or office and the internet that does not require any wires. Instead, it uses radio waves, which are like invisible waves of energy that travel through the air. Your computer sends data to your router (a device that helps your computer connect to the internet) using these radio waves. The router sends the data to another router on the other side that connects to the internet. This connection lets you use the internet without having to plug in any cables!
