ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Women's War

Well, sweetie, sometimes in the world, when people are really unhappy about something, they might decide to speak out or take action to try and make things better. This can even happen in big groups, like countries or societies.

So, a long time ago, some women in different parts of the world noticed that they were being treated unfairly compared to men. They weren't allowed to do certain things or have the same rights as men did, just because they were girls! This made them very upset and they wanted to make a change.

These women started to work together to fight for their rights. They wanted to be treated equally and have the same opportunities as men. And so, they began a very important movement, called the women's war.

During this time, women all around the world came together to protest, march and campaign for better rights. They made their voices heard, showing people that they wouldn't be silenced or ignored any longer.

Eventually, because of all their hard work and dedication, women began to see some positive changes happening. Things like the right to vote, equal pay, and protection from abuse and discrimination became a reality for women. This made many women very happy and proud of what they had accomplished.

So, that's what the women's war was all about, sweetie. It was a time when brave and inspiring women fought to make the world a fairer and better place for girls like us.
