Woodchipper

A woodchipper is a machine that turns big pieces of wood into small pieces of wood. It's like putting a big cookie into a cookie cutter and making it into little cookies!

The woodchipper has a big opening where you put the wood in, kind of like a mouth. Inside the machine, there are sharp blades (like teeth) that chop up the wood into tiny pieces. These pieces come out on the other side of the machine, like when you eat your food and then it comes out as poopy!

People use woodchippers to make it easier to get rid of big pieces of wood. Instead of throwing away or burning the big pieces of wood, you can use the woodchipper to make them into smaller pieces that you can use for things like making mulch for plants or burning in a fireplace.

It's important to be very careful around woodchippers because the blades are very sharp and can hurt you if you get too close. So, it's important to let grown-ups use them and stay far away from them when they are in use.
