ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Working class education

Working class education is when people who come from families that don't have a lot of money or power, and may work in jobs that don't require a lot of education, get a chance to learn new things and improve their lives.

Just like how you learn new things in school, working class education gives adults the opportunity to learn new skills, get more education and training, and improve their chances of getting better jobs and earning more money in the future.

This can happen in many different ways, like going back to school to get a degree or certification, attending vocational or trade schools to learn a specific skill like plumbing or welding, or taking courses online or through community organizations like libraries or community centers.

Working class education is important because it gives people more opportunities to succeed and build better lives for themselves and their families, even if they didn't have a lot of advantages when they were growing up. It's never too late to learn something new and improve your future.
