World War II

World War II was a big fight between two sides, called the Allies and the Axis. The Allies included countries like the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union. The Axis was made up of countries like Germany, Italy, and Japan. During the war, both sides used soldiers, ships, planes and tanks to fight each other. Millions of people were killed and hurt. The Allies eventually won the war, and many places around the world were changed forever.
