Young summer radish

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a little red vegetable that's sometimes served with sushi or put in salads? That's called a radish!

Now, a young summer radish is just like a regular radish, but it's picked when it's still small and young instead of waiting for it to grow really big. When it's young, it's really crisp and crunchy, and tastes a little bit sweet and spicy.

People like to eat young summer radishes because they're really refreshing and make a great snack or addition to a meal. They're also really healthy for us! They have lots of vitamins and minerals that our bodies need to grow strong and healthy.
