Zoonosis

Zoonosis is when an illness or disease is passed from animals to humans. It's like when someone catches a cold from someone else. If someone has an illness or disease that comes from an animal, it's called a zoonosis. People can get zoonosis from animals like birds, mice, cows, and even cats and dogs. Animals can have germs on their fur, skin, or in their saliva or poop that can make people sick.
