ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

coulomb's law

Coulomb's law is like an invisible force between two objects. If the objects have a positive charge, like a + sign, the force between them will push them away. But if the objects have a negative charge, like a - sign, the force between them will pull them together. So, when you have two objects with opposite charges, like a + and a -, they will be attracted to each other.
