Anonymity

Anonymity is when you do something but nobody knows it was you. For example, if you wanted to buy a present for someone, you could use cash instead of a credit card, so nobody would know it was you who bought the present. It can also be used on the internet, like when you make an account with a username so nobody knows what your real name is.
