ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Postsecularism

Postsecularism is a way of thinking and understanding the world that has come about in recent years. It takes the idea of 'secular' thinking, which is based on science and facts, but also considers and respects the spiritual beliefs and values of different cultures and religions. It looks at the ways in which science and religion can work together and not be in conflict. Postsecularism also recognizes how culture and religious beliefs shape how people think and see the world, and tries to find common ground between them. In short, postsecularism is a way of thinking that respects science, religion, culture, and values, while still finding ways in which these can work together.
