ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Quantum computing

Quantum computing is a new kind of computer technology. It uses the properties of quantum particles to store and process information, and is much more powerful than traditional computers. Quantum particles, like electrons and atoms, can spin in both directions at the same time, like a coin spinning in the air. This means that quantum computers can take multiple paths at the same time and can store more information than regular computers. They can also do calculations much faster, helping to solve difficult problems that traditional computers would take too long to figure out.
