Ænon is a word that comes from the Bible and it means "a place of many springs". In the Bible, it is mentioned as the place where John the Baptist was baptizing people in the Jordan river. So, imagine a really nice place with lots of water that people would go to for a special ceremony called baptism where they would get wet and feel really happy and clean!
