Aboriginal South Australians

Okay kiddo, let's talk about aboriginal South Australians!

First, it's important to know that Aboriginal people are the native people of Australia. Their ancestors have been living in Australia for tens of thousands of years!

In South Australia, there are different groups of Aboriginal people, who have their own languages and traditions. They have lived in this area for a very, very long time before the English people arrived in Australia.

Aboriginal South Australians used to live a very different lifestyle to what we are used to now. They would hunt and gather food, make shelters out of natural materials, and have complex systems of laws and traditions. They also had a deep connection to the land, and believed that everything in nature is alive and has a spirit.

Unfortunately, as more and more English people came to Australia, they took over the land and forced Aboriginal people to change their way of life. This was very unfair and caused a lot of hurt and pain. However, Aboriginal people have fought hard to keep their cultures alive, and today they still have many beautiful traditions and languages.

So, in summary, Aboriginal South Australians are the native people of that area who have lived there for a very long time. They have unique languages, traditions, and beliefs, and have experienced some difficult times as colonisers arrived in Australia. But they are strong and proud of their culture, and work hard to keep it alive.
