Abura-age

Abura-age is a type of food that comes from Japan. It’s made from a special kind of soybean called a “soybean block”. To make abura-age, you first take these soybean blocks and cut them into thin slices. Then, you put them in hot oil and cook them until they’re crispy and golden brown.

Once the abura-age is cooked, you can use it in all kinds of dishes! For example, you might put it in a soup or stew, or you might chop it up and use it as a topping for rice dishes. Some people even eat it as a snack!

One of the coolest things about abura-age is that it’s really versatile. Because it’s made of soybeans, it’s high in protein and other nutrients. Plus, it has a mild, slightly sweet flavor that goes well with lots of different ingredients.

So, if you ever get a chance to try abura-age, go for it! Who knows, you might just discover your new favorite food.
