Achievement gap in the United States

The achievement gap in the United States is a big problem. It means that different groups of people do not all have the same chances of being successful in school. For example, some students might do really well on tests and get good grades, but others might not do as well. This is because different students come from different backgrounds. Some students come from families that have a lot of money and can give them extra help with their studies, while other students come from families that do not have a lot of money and can't give them extra help. The achievement gap means that some people have an easier time getting good grades than other people, and this is not fair.
