Occupational segregation

Occupational segregation is when people do different types of jobs based on their gender, race, or ethnicity. For example, if you look at a group of people all doing different jobs, you might find that most of the women are doing certain types of jobs, while most of the men are doing other types of jobs. It's like people are divided into groups when it comes to certain types of jobs.
