ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Occupational inequality

Occupational inequality is when some people are treated differently than others when it comes to their job or work. It means that some people might get paid more or get better jobs than other people for the same work, even though everyone is doing the same job. This is unfair and it can cause people to feel like their hard work doesn't matter. It's important to make sure everyone is treated equally when it comes to jobs so that everyone can have the same chances to get a great job and be successful.
