Acrophony

Acrophony is a trick to remember facts or a list. It involves using words that start with letters that match the first letter of some items in a list so that you can remember them better. For example, let's say you wanted to remember the planets in order from closest to the sun to farthest: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. You can make a sentence out of the first letter of each planet like this: "My Very Energetic Mother Just Served Us Noodles". That way it is easier to remember the order of the planets.
