Advanced meat recovery

Have you ever seen ground meat like hamburger or sausage? Well, sometimes there are small bits of meat still left on the bones after the big pieces of meat have been cut off. Advanced Meat Recovery (AMR) is a fancy machine that helps to get these small bits of meat off the bones, so people can use them to make more ground meat, hot dogs, or other products.

The AMR machine works like a giant blender that spins really fast. When the bones are put into the machine, the spinning blades smash them up into really small pieces. Then, water is sprayed in to wash away the small bits of meat that get stuck to the bone pieces. The water and meat mixture then goes through a filter that separates the meat from the other things in the water, like bones and fat. The final product is a meat paste that can be used again to make ground meat, hot dogs, or other products.

AMR is a way to use nearly all of the meat from an animal, even the small amounts left on the bones. This way, people can be more efficient in using the resources they have and waste less. Some people may have concerns about using AMR because it involves small bits of meat being removed from bones, but if it is done correctly and safely, there should not be any harm.
