ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Advanced potential

Imagine that you are trying to climb up a hill. As you start climbing, you will encounter some easy parts and some difficult parts. The easy parts of the hill will not require much effort to climb, while the difficult parts will require you to use all your strength to climb up.

The potential that you have to climb the hill is related to the height and steepness of the hill. If the hill is not very steep, you will have a lower potential to climb it. However, if the hill is very steep, you will have a higher potential to climb it.

Now, imagine that you have been climbing hills for a while and have become very good at it. You have learned different techniques to make it easier for you to climb hills. You have also become stronger and more agile.

This is similar to what happens when you improve your skills in a particular activity, whether it is playing a sport or making music. Your potential to excel in that activity increases as you become more skilled.

Advanced potential is the highest level of potential that you can reach in a particular activity. It is what you can achieve when you have become an expert in that activity and have reached the limits of your physical or mental abilities.

To reach advanced potential, you need to continue to practice and learn new techniques. This takes time, effort, and dedication. But if you are committed to improving, you can eventually reach advanced potential and become a master in your chosen activity.
