Air turborocket

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes planes fly really fast and then they need extra power to keep going even faster? Well, sometimes they use something called an air turborocket to do that.

Now, imagine a toy car that has those little wheels that spin really fast when you blow on them. The air turborocket works kind of like that. It uses the air rushing past the plane to create extra power to make it go faster.

Inside the air turborocket, there are two parts: the turbine and the rocket. The turbine spins around really fast and catches the air coming in. That air is then compressed and heated up really quickly.

Then, that hot, compressed air gets sent to the rocket part of the air turborocket. The rocket uses that hot air to make it go really fast, like when someone blows up a balloon and lets it go.

When the air turborocket is turned on, the plane can go a lot faster than it normally would just using its regular engines. It's like giving the plane a little boost!
