Airstrike

An airstrike is like a birdie flying in the sky dropping something on the ground. But instead of a birdie, it's a big airplane that flies really high up and drops bombs or fires missiles at a target on the ground. The pilot can see the target using cameras on the airplane. Sometimes, the target might be bad guys who are trying to hurt people or a place where they are making bad things like weapons or drugs. Airstrikes can be very dangerous but they can also help protect people and make bad guys stop doing bad things.
