Algorithmic transparency

Algorithmic transparency is when computer algorithms (software that follows a set of instructions) show how they make decisions. It helps people understand why the software gave them a certain result. For example, if you're using a computer to help decide what movie to watch, the algorithm can show you why it chose the movie that it did. That way, you can decide if you agree with the computer's opinion!
