Alpha test

An alpha test is like playing with new toys that are not quite ready yet. You get to try out the toys before anyone else, but they might not work perfectly yet. The toy makers want you to play with them and tell them how to make them better. So, an alpha test is when people test new things before they are released to everyone else.
