Amplitude

Amplitude is like how loud or quiet a sound is. If you shout really loud, that has a big amplitude. If you whisper really softly, that has a small amplitude. It's like how big or small the waves are when you make sound. The bigger the waves, the bigger the amplitude, and the louder the sound.
