Amyloid

Amyloid is a lumpy, sticky stuff that's made of proteins. It can build up in the body and cause problems. It's sort of like gunk that collects in your pipes and makes the water not flow properly. It can collect in the brain and stop things from working the way they should, which can cause things like memory loss.
