Analog Forestry is a practice of taking care of forests in a way that respects and mimics the natural systems. It involves looking at the plants, animals, and other living things in an ecosystem, and then planting more of them so the forest will be more diverse and better able to survive and stay healthy. This is different than traditional forestry, which usually just plants one type of tree and tries to manage them in a way that makes it easy to cut them down and make money. Analog Forestry tries to make forests better places for all the living things that live in and around them.
