Analysis on fractals

Fractals are special shapes that have a repeating pattern no matter how far you zoom in or out. They usually look like a bunch of curves connected in an endless pattern. Scientists use analysis on fractals to help answer questions about how things grow or change over time. For example, you might use fractal analysis to understand how something like a mountain range was formed or how the colors of a painting can change depending on how closely you look. By studying the same fractal over and over again, scientists can understand trends and make predictions.
