Animal studies

Animal studies are experiments done on animals to learn more about how their bodies and behaviors work. Scientists use animals to help them understand how different things may affect people or animals. For example, they might study how medicine affects a certain type of animal to see if it could also help people. Scientists use many different animals in their studies, like rats, mice, dogs, cats, fish, and monkeys.
