Anticipatory democracy

Anticipatory democracy is a system of government where the ordinary people in a society get to express their opinions and vote on laws before they happen. This way, people get to decide the future of their community by giving their input and having a say in the decision making process. Instead of waiting for laws to be passed and then trying to change them later, anticipatory democracy lets people take part in designing the laws and policies before they're even put into effect. This way, people are able to think about what will work best for them and make sure their voices are heard from the very start.
