ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Antisocial behavior

Antisocial behavior means doing things that are not good or nice towards other people. It's like when you disobey your parents or hurt someone on purpose. It can also mean not following the rules or breaking them. When a person behaves like this all the time, people start to call them antisocial because they are not socializing in a good way. It's like being a bad friend or not being a good member of the community.

Sometimes people behave like this because they have some problems that make it difficult for them to control what they do. They may feel angry or hurt and behave badly towards others. Sometimes they may have problems in their brains that make it hard for them to think about other people's feelings when they act. Other times, they may have been raised in a bad environment that has taught them to behave badly.

It's important to try and help people who behave this way because it can affect their life and others too. They may get into trouble with the law or lose friends because of their actions. We can help them learn better ways to behave and understand that their actions can hurt others. We can also help them get the right support they need to overcome any problems they may have. By doing this, we can help them become better members of our society.
