Architect

An architect is someone who designs and plans buildings. Just like how you might draw a picture of a house on paper, architects use special tools and knowledge to create drawings and models of buildings. But architects don't just think about what the building should look like, they also consider important things like how strong the building should be, where it should be located, and how the people who use it will move around inside.

Think about playing with building blocks. You might stack them up to make a tower or a fort, but architects do the same thing with real buildings! But instead of just using blocks, they use materials like bricks, metal, and concrete. Architects have to make sure their designs are safe, comfortable, and functional for the people who will be living, working, or using the building. They also need to be creative, thinking of new and interesting ways to make buildings look beautiful and intriguing.

So, when you walk around your town or city, look at all the different types of buildings around you. Each one was designed and planned by an architect!
