Arctic exploration

Arctic exploration is when people go to explore very cold places in the far north. It's usually done by brave people who have special equipment and clothing to keep them warm and safe. Scientists also go on these expeditions to find out new things about the Arctic, like what kind of animals and plants live there. They also measure the temperature and make maps of the area.
