Art of the Upper Paleolithic

The art of the Upper Paleolithic is art that was made around 40,000 to 10,000 years ago during the last part of the Stone Age. This was a time when people were making tools and weapons out of stone, so the art of the Upper Paleolithic often includes things like carvings and paintings on stone. The artwork was usually of animals or people and was thought to help the people of that time tell stories.
