Asia is a large continent that is located in the eastern part of the world. It covers most of the eastern hemisphere of the Earth and it is the largest and most populous continent on the planet. It is home to many different countries, cultures and religions. Asia is made up of many different types of land, from deserts to mountains to flat open plains. Asia is home to many different kinds of animals, plants and people. People in Asia have been around for thousands of years, developing early forms of writing, inventing things such as paper, producing works of art, and creating important religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam. Asia is a great place to learn more about different cultures and make new friends.
