Association of American Cemetery Superintendents

Okay kiddo, so you know how when we go to the park or playground, there are people who take care of it and make sure it's clean and safe for us to play? Well, the Association of American Cemetery Superintendents (AACS) is kinda like that, but for cemeteries.

You see, when people pass away, they are often buried in cemeteries. And just like parks, these cemeteries need people to take care of them too. That's where the AACS comes in, they are a group of special people who work together to help take care of cemeteries all over America.

The AACS helps to train and educate cemetery caretakers on how to best take care of the cemetery grounds and make sure everything is clean and tidy. They also help with things like planning where new graves should go and making sure the graves have nice headstones.

It might not seem like the most exciting job, but taking care of cemeteries is really important. It helps to honor and remember the people who have passed away, and makes sure their resting place is a peaceful and beautiful one. So we should be thankful for the AACS and all the hard work they do to make sure our loved ones' final resting places are taken care of.
