Atlantic World

The Atlantic World is a way of talking about the people and places connected by the Atlantic Ocean. It includes parts of Europe, Africa and the Americas. People and things moved back and forth across the Atlantic over many centuries, creating a way of life that was shared by many different cultures. This way of life included ideas, foods and goods that were exchanged between different people and cultures. With this exchange also came challenges, as people often faced challenges such as wars and new diseases. However, the Atlantic World was also a place of incredible diversity and creativity that still has a big impact on our world today.
