Attribute (computing)

An attribute in computing is like describing something about a person or a thing. You know how you might describe your favorite toy as being red, soft, and fluffy? Those are its attributes! In computers, we use attributes to give more information about something we're talking about. For example, if we're talking about a picture, we might want to know its size, file type, or even the date it was created. We store those details as attributes so we can refer back to them whenever we need to. It's kind of like how your mom writes your name and address on your backpack so everyone knows it's yours!
