Authoritarian personality

Authoritarian personality is a way of thinking and behaving that values obedience to authority and following rules. People with authoritarian personalities tend to be very strict about how people should act and think, and want to control activities and behavior. They often have very traditional ideas about how people should act, such as men taking leadership positions and roles, and women staying at home. People with authoritarian personalities tend to value structure and order, and put more importance on following the rules than questioning them.
