Bahay kubo

Bahay kubo is a type of traditional house in the Philippines that is usually made out of bamboo and nipa palm leaves. Think of it like a treehouse but on the ground! It has a pointed roof that looks like a hat and sometimes has a little balcony on the top where people can hang out and relax.

Inside the bahay kubo, there are usually no walls, just space dividers made out of bamboo or other materials. This means that the house is very open and airy. It's a bit like sleeping in a big tent!
